T.Graham and D.Smith come together to form the Los Angeles based hip hop trio Fridays Drive. Known for their engaging shows and thought provoking lyrics Fridays Drive carries on their tradition with an organic, fresh sound, captivating listeners with their wide range of influences from hip hop, soul,rock,and reggae.Fridays Drive first began in 2000 while touring and performing with Fertile Soil. They began to make a local buzz performing at local venue’s and clubs and in 2002 began a west coast college tour and began performing in record stores, college radio stations, campus events and club venue’s through out Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.
Fridays Drive released three independent albums with Fertile Soil, and a numerous amount of compilations with D.Smith ,T.Graham and Dj Beathoven contributing to production. Fridays Drive has also made several radio appearances on 90.7 Divine Forces Radio, UC Irvine, UNM Campus station, Hip-Hop Culture@ Florida International University and also made a small appearance in 2001 in Cody Chestnutts “ Look good in leather”. Fridays Drive is currently preparing to release their full length album which should be available this summer under the indie label Ipromise records.
